Where I’ve been: rAdelaide

Lots of fun to be had in Adelaide. I always enjoy coming here. it’s beautiful, the weather is gorgeous and the people nice.

Winning.

I don’t believe in matching

Which  is why it is all the more astounding that this cobbled together outfit works, and even matches. This was what I wore to go on a date with my man to the Australian Centre for Moving Image (ACMI).

Flowers from lovely people

I’m a lucky girl. Two lots of flowers from two different but equally divine people in the space of a week.

This here is one of them. Aren’t they a gorgeous hue?

I have been….

On a bit of a shopping frenzy. Yesterday I brought two vintage dresses (that’s one of them above), two tops and two pairs of shoes. Whoopsadaisy.

Totally by mistake. In fact, I swear I was FORCED to buy these items. By….someone? Who is not me?

I abjure myself from all blame.

Hiding bike injuries and roses

So I’ve been quiet. It’s been nuts busy and I had a bike accident on Monday which also resulted in me looking somewhat. Well. Like I’ve been punched repeatedonly on the right side of my head. No matter. It’s no longer a big drama, but while I’m healing sunglasses are my friends.

Jules and I went on a small impromptu picnic near our house today and later I’ll be off to a “dance” class. “Dance” because while everyone else really does dance. I shuffle around and look uncomfortable. Though I love it all the same.

Time to start getting ready.

Where I’ve been: Point Lonsdale

Yesterday I took a long drive down to Point Lonsdale for some strategic planning work with a small not-for-profit I assist. I think the last time I properly  visited Point Lonsdale was when I was 17, a good many years ago, for schoolies week. It felt vaguely familiar and foreign at  the same time. And brought up memories of my 17 year old self, my friends, many whom I still remain friends with to this day. How lucky.

Smith street and gorgeous little pictures

Today Jules and I went to Smith Street, Fitzroy to check out the Social Studio. Unfortunately it was shut, but we had a fine coffee elsewhere and a bit of a wander to the Lost & Found Market, where I found some adorable little pictures. I would have brought them if I had had cash on hand, but alas it wasn’t to be.
